I buy this DVD for my girlfriend as the christmas gift. This is very good artist and very nice relax music. So simple – good dvd and good price!

I was fortunate enough to be at Cohen’s London concert and we all felt it was an unbelievable performance and probably the best concert anyone has ever done. We all felt like Leonard was there only for us, singing to each of us personally.
This DVD is a brilliant recording of a legendary performance and the next best thing to being there. This occasion will never be repeated but at least we have a permanent record of the joy we had that night.

Leonard Cohen – Live In London [DVD] [2008] [NTSC] This is an excellent DVD of the best of his music. The musicians,accompanying singers and arrangements are first class. This is a DVD that can be watched or just listened to many many times without ever tiring of it. I would highly recommend it to all Leonard Cohen devotees or people new to his music, he certainly matures with age.

Leonard Cohen fans won’t need any prompting to go out and purchase this CD – they will have been listening to Leonard over the past five decades and will be well aware of how good this guy is. To everyone who doesn’t know Leonard Cohen, this DVD is absolutely brilliant. He is an incredible song writer and I doubt anyone could present his songs as he does – his phrasing is out of this world and you’ll find yourself hanging on his every next word. The back up band is slick and tight and the back up vocalists – well, they are introduced as his angels and certainly sing as such. Leonard was in his 70’s when he recorded this concert and like a fine wine, the years have produced a wonderfully deep and mature voice. From the moment he walks onto the stage, he will have you spell bound. If you want something deeply moving and satisfying to watch, go out and get this DVD – rest assured, you will not be disappointed, you will have your eyes and ears opened to a whole new experience.
