London museums are cheap

One of the most common complaints about London is how expensive a city it is, especially in light of the stronger value of the pound relative to the dollar.  But one great tip for traveling to London is to avoid pricey tourist attractions and instead focusing on seeing the many museums that are available to visitors.  The British Museum, in particular, has some incredible exhibits and artifacts, including the Rosetta Stone and one of the original Crystal Skulls from Indiana Jones fame.  The architecture of the museum itself is similarly breathtaking.  I would also recommend the Victoria and Albert Museum, which has more exhibits than you will probably be able to get through in an entire day.  Don’t miss out on the Cast Court collection in the museum, which is incredible to behold in person.  And don’t forget that on Fridays, some galleries are open until 10pm.  If you haven’t stayed at a museum until closing time, I would highly recommend it‚Äîit is a much different experience when the crowds thin out and you have the whole exhibit to yourself.  The best part is that both of these museums, like most in London, are absolutely free of charge to all visitors, so you can come back as many times as you’d like!
