My brothers kids had some of these a few years ago and they still look great today, sadly the paint job these days is rubbish. Very very poor indeed. My boy loves these, they are great…but like other wooden toy cars I have bought for him recently I would say that I expect for that money a much, much better paint job. Its just not good enough and I would not pay that price for that product again.

These cars were brought to take on holiday abroad for my 2 year old…they were thoroughly loved and made the flight journey durable for him. Although my only criticism is that the paint has flaked off just after 1 week but this cetainly has not effected my son playing with them, plus even his 11 month old brother.

Good toy for a 3 year old, but price found cheaper elsewhere (in a toystore) afterwards.

These cars are excellent. My little girl loves playing with cars on her mat, so I bought these to complement her existing somewhat battered collection of corgi and matchbox cars.
When I ordered them, I hadn’t noticed that they were wooden. When I found out my heart initially sank. Most wooden toys tend to be crushingly dull by today’s high tech standards. Wooden toys stereotypically get bought by dull parents for boring children. However, these cars more than hold their own against modern counterparts, and no kid will be embarrassed playing with them.
Bottom line; my little girl loves them.

I really like this le toy london set and so does my daughter (nearly 2 but I think she’ll like ‘em for ages to come). They are solid, colourful and nice to handle and make a nice traffic jam which, if you live in a large city (London?) then your kids will know all about such things and enjoy recreating them on the floor! Nice present and/or nice to own. I think we’ll probably get her the le toy garage for her birthday so she can expand her play with them. By the way – They don’t have any opening doors or anything but each one has a little hole in the back which I presume is for the petrol pump to fit into if you get the garage. They are quite light so wouldn’t do terrible harm if chucked and seem pretty well made.
