I used to like Lea better… when I was a stupid kid. Then I woke up and smelled the truth. Frances is amazing.

Michael Ball is still adorable.
The guy who sings Enjolras’* lines looks like gregor Gysi, though, and who is the guy who LOOKS like Enjolras?

Oh my god! Every single time I watch this I get goosebumps… I did this show last year and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Viva la revolution!!

Is that not Alun Armstrong at 2:00?
February 7th, 2010 at 8:19 am
since fantine is already dead at this point, it wouldn’t make sense for her to sing here.
February 7th, 2010 at 8:37 am

February 7th, 2010 at 9:26 am
Patty LuPone is on one side and John Owen-Jones is on the other
February 7th, 2010 at 9:53 am
Who’s that there beside Colm Wilkinson at 2:56?
February 7th, 2010 at 10:41 am
You are correct. For one reason or another, David, Alun, and Roger were not available for this performance. In the original production, the understudies in question played three of the rebel students, Prouvaire, Lesgles (also the Bishop), and Grantaire (also Bamatabois), respectively.

Again, my favorite 3:39 on all of Youtube. Especially 1:08 through 1:20, Frances breaks my heart every time. Dazzling.
