and in heathrow you guys have the cork screws. in Toronto we have the go-around the airport and turn into the glideslope of the runway. If your not fast enough, 4 collisions can occur.

hehe so do I. Except every 20 seconds planes need to come in through 2 runways at the same time. Toronto Pearson has 5 runways. 33L-15R is only for Military. On special busy days, Every 20 seconds, 2 planes are going in the same direction on 2 sides. one on the left and one of the right. 1 on the left is heading for runway 05. one on the right is either taking 06L or 06R. so imagine in 20 seconds how many planes are taking this flight path.

Yeah,massive airport…i live in Galway,Ireland and use it a lot to connect onwards…its very well organised,apparently..at any one time during normal hours,there are at least 100,000 people inthe airport…that terminal 5 is now the single biggest building in the UK by square footage
